Presidents Night – Harriet Brixey

Presidents Night – Harriet Brixey Harriet Brixey With Mic

Our Presidents Night will be a great evening of the very best local music featuring talented local carnivalite Harriet Brixey the Somerset Event Singer.
We got talking to Harriet recently about the prospect of performing at the Presidents Night and it has to be said that she is certainly excited about performing,  she had this to say about the event.

“I love singing and entertaining the public! I’ve been singing for many years, at local concerts, weddings and celebrations.
I enjoy singing a wide range of music and I love musicals so I love performing songs from the shows. I’m also a huge fan of Glastonbury Festival and sing a lot of songs by artists that have performed there over the past few years.
I was pleased to be asked to perform at Midsomer Norton Carnival Presidents night as I’m a member of Huckyduck Carnival Club, Carnival means so much to me and I’m pleased to be able to help out the committee to keep Carnival alive, I can’t wait to see you all on the 6th May!”

Harriet is certainly no stranger to supporting our carnival along with her tableau club Huckyduck who’s members will no doubt be out to offer her support at the event, we also looking forward to enjoying seeing and indeed hearing the vocal talents that she’ll be treating us to at the Presidents night

Also performing will be popular local band The Sneakers, The Sneakers are a hugely popular band locally and have quite a dedicated following, the band play hits from the late fifties the sixties and early seventies so you can expect to hear The Sneakers to play songs from Elvis ,Everly Brothers, Beatles ,Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry to name but a few.

It’s all set to be a spectacular night of truly local music for a great local charity held in the very heart of the town, tickets are available online from www.illuminatedcarnival.co.uk and includes a free buffet and a well-stocked bar being run by the Midsomer Norton Community Trust.

Its set to be a great night, don’t miss out!
